Project Runway Season 15 episode 12: ‘An Unconventional Trip’

When the designers were back in New York, Tim also told them that they had to create a second look making use of conventional materials to complement their first look. Here is a breakdown of the worst and best looks of Project Runway season 15 episode 12 “An Unconventional Trip.”

The Losing Looks | Project Runway season 15 episode 12

Corey

Corey did a good job in this week of Project Runway season 15 episode 12. Although his look was good and also creative, it’s so sad he didn’t  make the cut. I personally loved his look better than most of the looks from some of his fellow designers.

Top Looks

Laurence

Laurence proved to the judges that she could do more than just making great square shoulders and also working with leather She went d and used birdseed on her unconventional look to make a beaded look. She also used a bright yellow dress instead of black for her second look on the runway.

Erin

Erin tops the list as the best for me in Project Runway season 15 episode 12. Erin’s is really great at unconventional challenges as she’s always finding creative ways to create shape and texture on her garments that do not really include fabric. Her jumpsuit for the second look on Project Runway season 15 episode 12 is also simple, bright and fun.

Winning Looks | Project Runway Season 15 Episode 12

Roberi

Strange how Roberi’s look was chosen as the winning look for Project Runway season 15 episode 12. His unconventional look can hardly be called a dress and it also exposes way too much skin on his model. While Roberi is quite artistic with the knot work and all, I don’t think his first look is even clothing. His second was also not so great, but I guessed the Project Runway judges loved it.

So guys, what did you think of the looks on Project Runway season 15 episode 12? Do you think Roberi deserved the win?

Project Runway airs Thursdays on Lifetime at 9/8c.
