The TV show stars James Franco as an uprising 70s pornographer in the New York City area during the 70s adult industry boom in the area. One of the co-stars in this drama series is Maggie Gyllenhaal, she stars as a sex worker who gets entangled in the mob controlled fledgling industry.
“The Deuce” drama series is set in NYC during the 70s and 80s. This was a time plagued by record crime rates and also urban decay. James Franco will be playing twin brothers, Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino. He will play the characters for both brothers who will later become major players and subsequently fell under the control of the mob.
Maggie Gyllenhaal will play Candy. She is a hooker in Times Square and also gets sucked into the city’s new porn scene. Other casts in The Deuce are Margarita Levieva, Gary Carr, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Dominique Fishback and Emily Meade.
According to the TV show’s IMDB page, an exact premiere date for the drama series is not yet set. However, the TV Show will hit TV sets with HBO service sometime in 2017.

They should be no visible tattoos
